Pool Rummy

Pool Rummy is played by paying entry fees that contribute to the winning pool for each deal. Pool rummy is a round-based game. Pool rummy, like points rummy, is played until the last player accumulates more than 101 or 201 points. During Pool Rummy, the winner of each round receives 0 points. The last player standing wins. Except for those who win deals, the points of all other players are added to their total. As a result, pool rummy takes slightly longer to complete than other versions.

Rules of Pool Rummy

  • Each player brings money to the table and gets 13 cards from a well-shuffled deck.
  • The open deck is formed by placing the first card face up and the rest face down (this includes the closed deck).
  • Attempt 2 melds, either 2 pure sequences, 1 impure sequence, or 1 pure sequence + 1 set.
  • If valid, the player wins with 0 points.

Points Rummy

It is the simplest and most basic format of 13-Card Rummy. It is the version recommended for beginners. It is the most popular online rummy variant because it allows card enthusiasts to refresh themselves quickly. There are tables with various point values ranging from 10 paisa per point to Rs 100 per point. Once a player declares in this game, the winnings of the player at Pool13 are calculated based on the points accumulated by the losing players.

Rules of Points Rummy

  • Players of point rummy have the opportunity to play with two to six other players.
  • There are still a few cards left on the table.
  • A closed deck is formed by showing the first card in a pile and hiding the rest.
  • There are 2 pure sequences, 1 impure sequence, or 1 pure sequence and 1 set.
  • Kings, Queens, and Jacks receive ten points each. The value of points is the same as their face value.

Deals Rummy

Deals Rummy follows all Indian Rummy rules. It varies game by game. A deal is the number of rounds in a game. Pool13 is a game with a set number of deals.At the start of the game, each player is given an equal number of chips. The losing players must surrender their chips to the winner at the end of each deal. When all of the deals are completed, the players are ranked according to their chip count. The player with the most chips at the end of the game is the overall winner. It's the same as playing Points Rummy for a set number of times.

Rules of Deals Rummy

  • There are 2 to 6 players in the game.
  • A closed deck is formed by placing the undealt cards face down in an open deck.
  • Players must discard one card from each hand at every turn.
  • For a player to win, they must create two melds (2 pure sequences and 1 impure sequence).
  • The exact number of points is the face value.
